MBR boot code that somehow finds the bootxx_foo code in the beginning of the / partition
- uses hard-coded information
- finds first marked-bootable partition using the flags field
- depends on what fits
- bootxx_foo code can stay the same, i think
- boot2 (boot(8)) that can grok GPT tables and MBR tables and find the booted partition
